Coronavirus is the type of virus. There are many different kinds. And some cause disease. The newly identified coronavirus SARS-COV-2 has caused a worldwide pandemic of breath illness is called COVID-19. COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new coronavirus that appeared in China in December 2019. Symptoms of Coronavirus include cough, fever, or chills difficulty breathings, muscles or body aches, diarrhea, headache, new fatigue, nausea or vomiting, and congestion or runny nose. COVID-19 can be severe, and some cases have been fatal. The COVID-19 can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed by laboratory tests.
Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19):
- Body ache.
- Difficulty breathing.
- Loss of taste.
- New fatigue.
- Congestion or runny nose.
Coronavirus is a still major threat, but there is no vaccine to protect the body from this disease –Covid-19. And by the end of the year, clinical trials may contain at least half a dozen different coronavirus vaccines. It is being developed by Oxford University and is already in the advanced stage of tests.
Why is a coronavirus vaccine necessary?
The virus spread easily and most of the world’s population still suffers from it. And a vaccine will provide some protection by training people’s immune systems to fight the virus so they don’t get sick. So this allows the lockdown to be lifted more securely, and the social distance to be reduced.
How to create a vaccine:
Vaccines show the immune system without any harm from viruses and bacteria. The body’s defenses recognize them as an attacker and learn how to fight them. And then if the body is ever exposed to reality, it already knows what to do. Some scientists particularly those are china, are using this approach. Work is also underway on a new coronavirus vaccine. And less tested. And approaches called plug and play vaccines. Because we know the genetic code for the new coronavirus, Sars-Cov-2. So, we have the complete blueprint to build it.
Oxford researchers have instead a small portion of its genetic code into a harmless virus that infects chimpanzees. They seem to have developed a safe virus that looks like enough coronavirus to cause an immune response.
China may be ready coronavirus vaccine for people in November:
China made coronavirus vaccine could be ready for general use in early November, then an official from the Chinese center for disease control and prevention (CDC) said.
Russia will sell 100m doses of coronavirus vaccines to India:
- Russia’s Soverign wealth fund announced that it will sell 100 million doses of the sputnik-V to an Indian drug company.
- More than five million cases of coronavirus reported in India. The second country after the United State to report so many cases.
- About 29.5 million people worldwide have diagnosed with COVID-19 and 933,542 have died, according to Johns Hopkins University. About 200 million people have recovered from the disease.
CanSino launch a Phase III trial of the Covid-19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia:
A spokesman for Saudi Arabia’s health ministry said on Sunday that Saudi Arabia would soon begin clinical trials on about 5,000 people for the Covid-19 vaccine, developed by China’s CanSino’s Biologics Inc.
Last month, CanSino’s co-founder said the company talks with Russia, Brazil, Chile, and Saudi Arabia to try the vaccine candidate Ed 5-NCO Phase III.
